~ season’s greetings ~

13 Oct

mod-drive in sign

It’s that most wonderful time of the year.

The trees are alive with flaming reds, muted yellows and sublime coppers.
The autumn breeze is redolent of smoke and cedar.
Mares tails streak across the sky.
Pumpkins and cider and swirling leaves and the moon hanging forlorn.
Amid the molting and decay the promise of rebirth is sealed with a dusty kiss before the long sleep of winter.

And things that go bump in the night—oh yes, what sweet music they make.

In this season of tricks we’ve concocted a treat for your delectation, a Drive-In Double Feature. Simply click this link or paste in your browser it in your browser -https://echolakeroad.net/works-2/ – cruise up Echo Lake Road, on past the old Spiritualist Camp, until you see the marquee glow off to the right. Turn in, find a spot, mount the speaker in your window, then sit back and enjoy the show.

From all of us at Sterns-Carson Sanitarium, to all of you out there— BooYa!
